On February 28, 2026, we are honored to support and participate in a meaningful collective effort: the Festival Solidario organized in collaboration with IDUKKI Misión, a non-profit association committed to improving healthcare and community wellbeing in a remote region of South India. This solidarity festival is a celebration of compassion, shared humanity, and collective action — values that echo deeply with the spirit of our dance community here in Madrid.

Mission of IDUKKI Misión

IDUKKI Misión is a non-profit group created to provide ongoing support to the Mundakayam Medical Trust Hospital, located in the Idukki region of Kerala, India — a lush, rural area where access to quality healthcare can be limited. The association’s mission was born out of personal encounters and friendships formed between volunteers from Spain and local healthcare workers in India. This sense of shared friendship, empathy and genuine care is what drives the association’s work. (idukki.es)

Through donations and collaborative efforts from members and friends across countries, IDUKKI Misión has already contributed substantial funds toward vital projects. These contributions support pediatric rooms, nursing accommodation and training facilities that help ensure better care for local communities. (idukki.es)

Festival Solidario — A Celebration of Giving Back

The “Festival Solidario” on 28 February 2026 is designed to bring people together in solidarity. While every aspect of the programme is rooted in community engagement and support for IDUKKI Misión’s mission, the spirit of the event is bigger than any single project — it’s about building bridges between cultures, sharing joy, and giving back in a way that strengthens our collective wellbeing. It’s a moment where festivity meets purpose, and where cultural expression, music, creativity, and compassion become catalysts for positive change.

Solidarity festivals like this remind us that even small contributions — whether financial, creative, or participatory — can help sustain vital community services and projects that make a real difference in people’s lives.

Why It Matters to Us

At Dance with Vini, we celebrate cultural exchange, empathy, and shared expression through dance. Just as our classes bring together people of diverse backgrounds to learn and grow through movement, events like the Festival Solidario bring communities together to make a tangible impact on the world. Whether through supporting healthcare access in Kerala or simply standing in solidarity with a collective cause, events like this remind us that creativity, joy, and compassion are powerful forces for change.

Join the Spirit of Solidarity

On 28 February 2026, we invite you to be part of this special day — whether by participating in the festival, contributing to the mission, or simply spreading awareness and kindness. Every act of solidarity enriches our world and connects us more deeply.

Together, we can move, dance, give and build a more compassionate world — one shared step at a time.
